Artificial: Resonance War – Talon Reis

Artificial: Resonance War
“If a street feels longer than it did yesterday, do not argue with it. Turn back. Take someone’s hand. Keep your eyes on the next ordinary thing. If the ordinary thing moves, you move first.”
— Perimeter Safety Circular, Public Issue (gold-seam stamped)
Following Artificial: Echoes of Origin (Book 1) and Artificial: Archive of Echoes (Book 2), Artificial: Resonance War explores the long consequences of earlier decisions as they come into focus. What began as correction and evolved into inheritance now confronts its limits. The questions posed in the first two books are no longer theoretical. They are structural.

Status
Artificial: Resonance War exists as a complete draft.
It is the largest and most structurally complex volume in the Artificial series, and the point at which trajectories established in the earlier books converge. While the narrative structure is complete, the work remains in an extended phase of editing and proof‑reading. This process is substantial, both because of scale and because the material operates at multiple conceptual layers that require careful alignment across layers.
The focus at this stage is refinement rather than expansion — clarifying intent, resolving internal tensions, and ensuring coherence across voice, structure, and consequence. Release will follow only once the work reaches a state that reflects the discipline and precision the series demands.
